The realtor smiles back and talks about paperwork, and blah blah blah. Kira kind of tunes the realtor out to take another glance around the room they're in, her fingers tight around Revan's hand.
Revan squeezes Kira's hand, listening to babble about paperwork before he finally cuts the realtor off. "Just, submit our offer and start drawing up the paperwork?"
"Now?"
"Now seems like a better time than any."
"But I might not be able to reach the seller," the realtor starts to say before Revan raises an eyebrow and the other quickly backtracks. "Of course, I'll go make the call right now."
She skirts a hand over her stomach just in time to catch a kick on her hand. She grimaces slightly--it's hard to get used to that feeling. "Thank you," She says after a moment. "For buying a house."
"Ours." She corrects, wrinkling her nose at him, getting him back for all the corrections he's made to her. "Soon it will be filled with little girl toys, I'm sure."
She smiles serenly. "Children and wives are not troops to be ordered, my dear." She squeezes his hand again. "Don't worry. We won't overrun you. Much."
"Much," he mimics, wrinkling his nose. "I'm going to go order around the realtor some more then. Enjoy yo- our yard."
He squeezes her hand once more and disappears back into the house. But when he finds the realtor it's just to say that he's going to look around the house once more and he heads back upstairs to one of the smaller bedrooms.
He sits down on the floor, in the middle of the room, and imagines a nursery.

"Made your decision?" The other person asked, and Kira looks over at Revan with her eyebrows raised.

"What? Oh, right. We'll take it," he says, smiling at the realtor. "Or make an offer. Whatever it is we have to do."

"Sir, er, what was your offer...?"
"Match the selling price," he tries not to snap before waving the realtor away again.

"Sorry," he murmurs in between bouts as he buries his nose into her hair. "I'll be nicer."

Revan demands it and what Revan demands...usually doesn't happen in cases involving Kira and his daughters.
This is the train of thought he has.
"I'm doomed."
