The memory flows over Bastila and for an instant she considers putting up her own shield, to block Revan off. She sees that attack through his eyes, sees her own face looking at him, making eye contact, and she remembers her thoughts back then. How idealist she'd been. Stupidly so. She'd been incredibly lucky that good things had come out of it. It could so easily have gone wrong.
Part of it did, in the end, in her personal story, but on the whole, for everyone else, it had been a good decision.
Yet, she knows she wouldn't make that same decision if she was faced to a similar situation now. She's not this idealist teenager anymore.
